The following deck contains a short sample set of the large number of words (nouns) rumored to be needed for study towards the N5 level JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test).
The remaining word set is found in part II.
As with all decks, full Kanji has been applied making the study applications of the deck useful for all levels regardless of the base N5 word selection.
It should be noted that the following edits to the long list of words has been purposely done for better quizzing:
- Honorific お from words removed where possible.
- Numbers have been omitted.
- Basic hiragana only words have been omitted.
- Katakana words have been omitted.
- Some adverbs and masu stem verbs have been omitted as knowledge should come from adjective and verb studies.
